Auto Glass Repair and Replacement
Removing the Trim
- First step is to remove the old trim that is holding the windshield in place.
Removing the Windshield
- Once the trim is removed, the windshield is lifted away from the car.
Cleaning Out and Preparing the Pinch Weld
- Once the windshield is removed, the pinch weld is cleaned out and prepared. The pinch weld is the small gap between the windshield and the body of your car that holds or pinches the edges of the windshield. Cleaning it before installing a new windshield is important to ensure the windshield can fit in the pinch weld, allowing it to fully hold the windshield glass.
Applying Urethane
- Once the pinch weld is cleaned, urethane is applied to the edges of the pinch weld. Urethane acts like a glue or adhesive that holds the windshield in place.
Installing the New Windshield
- Once the urethane is in place, the windshield is carefully fitted over the hole on your car. The glass is moved so that it fits within the pinch weld. Once properly positioned, it is pushed into place, typically with suction cups and bars, and held there for several minutes. Once the urethane begins to set, the suction cups are removed and the windshield is allowed to completely cure. The curing process varies based on the weather outside and the type of urethane used, but typically, most people can drive their car as soon as the new windshield is installed.

Chip Repair
If your rock chip on your windshield is smaller than a dime, we will mostly be able to repair it! Opting for chip repair proves to be a cheap and cost-effective alternative to replacing the entire windshield. Our mission is to deliver efficient and budget-friendly solutions, preserving your vehicle in optimal condition without unnecessary expenses. Once it has been verified that the chip is able to be repaired, the process can begin.
Clean out the Chip
-
Any dirt, debris, and glass fragments that are in the crack will be removed.
Create a Vacuum
-
Once the chip has been prepared, the crack repair tool is put in place and creates a vacuum.
Resin Filling
-
After the air has been removed, the resin is forced into the crack.
Cure Around the Repair
-
The resins used are cured by exposing them to UV light. This causes them to become hard and bond the crack together.
Pit Fill
-
Filling this pit in the glass will require additional resin to what would be required for a crack repair.
Cure the Resin
-
Once the pit has been filled, the whole crack can now be cured.
Remove Excess Resin
-
In order for wipers to work without issue, the repair needs to be smoothed off to the same level as the windshield.

Window Tinting
Getting window tints during summer is always the best idea because the warm weather can be unforgiving on most days. Nothing is more painful than getting inside a hot and stuffy car where you cannot breathe.
- Prep windows
The first thing car window tinting installers will do is clean and remove all the dirt and debris. This is a necessary step before applying any film.
- Take measurements
The film will be laid out on the exterior surface of your car’s window before being cut down. During this time, your installers will also use a heat gun to shrink the film. That process adds curves to the glass.
- Peel board comes
Then they will put it on their own glass, which is called the peel board. This helps cut even finer details for the shape of your windows. If there is any release liner, this is when they will remove that.
- Place the film
Installers will place the film on the surface of your windows. They will use a soap and water solution. This will be sprayed onto both the window and film. With a sponge or squeegee, they will remove any extra solution that is under the film.
- Final check
Your installer and their team will do their final checks to ensure that all the film is applied correctly.
Now that the auto window tinting job is done, the installer will then call you to come and collect your car.
